No no! I was giving you a lame suggestion

The last time I named a betta after someone, it died... this was a long time ago and clearly my fault, but I don't think I should name fish affer people anymore nonetheless xP
I just received him in the mail today and... it was a huge fiasco  he's my first, and probably only, purchase from aquabid. I live in an apartment that doesn't allow pets, even fish (according to the lease, so I try not to flaunt it). So to get him ASAP, I paid $35 for express shipping. USPS said he would be delivered by 3PM, so I figured I had some time to wait today. But as soon as I woke up this morning, I checked it and it said he had been delivered at the office 2 hours ago! SO I rushed half a mile up the hill to the office to pick him up, before i'd even brushed my hair/teeth, and... he wasn't there. They suggested if the package was small enough, he might be in my mailbox. He wasn't, so I harrassed my roommate at work to see if she'd gotten the mail because that'd mean he'd be sitting in her hot car all day! Anyway, she didn't pick him up, USPS lied about their tracking, which wouldn't be a huge deal if the seller didn't refund a DOA (god forbid) ONLY within the first hour of delivery. I'm actually quite sick atm so running up to the hill was the last thing I wanted to do. Later on, about 5PM, the office called me to tell me the package had arrived, and I just asked my roommate who was coming home from work to swing by and pick him up. but they wouldn't hand him over without my consent. which i gave, through several emails, which apparently they never got. they wouldn't take my consent over the phone, either. So I made my roommate have to wait but I ended up having to walk up the hill AGAIN to get the package, lol.
TL;DR, I know, lol
Luckily, he was really active and well packaged. He still seems pretty anxious, but he still ate, and that's better than being pale and lethargic. Hopefully he'll calm down within a couple days

I'm just a little worried because his tank is pretty barren right now, and the heater in his tank keeps popping and it's really unsettling. I have plants and a good heater in the mail, but still worried. I haven't really decided on his name yet and I'm trying to give him his space, so I feel bad snapping pictures of him, but here's a decent one. I think his skittishness might also have to do with the fact that he's pretty young--about 3.5 months. Have you officially decided on a name for your boy?
