When did you start noticing the symptoms? About two weeks ago, when I moved him into his 3 gallon KK
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? No, not sure what I should do
Does your fish have any history of being ill? Mild case of fin rot once before
How old is your fish (approximately)? Full grown, had for about 3 months
I introduced him into his KK a couple weeks ago, and he was swimming around, flaring at EVERYTHING. I just turned off his light and left him be so he could relax, but the next day, I realized there was a tear in his tail. It was a clean cut, so I know he didn't tail bite and it wasn't fin rot. I figured he just flared too much and it tore.
I'm not sure what to do to help it heal. I've kept his tank at 82 and kept up on water changes to prevent fin rot from setting in and making it worse, but I don't know any other ways to help it heal. It's been two weeks and I haven't seen an improvement at all yet. What should I do?
