My betta fish has had this lump on its tail for awhile and it’s grown bigger. I think it might be a bacterial infection, or it could be a tumor? Can anybody help me figure out what it is?

Okay! So unfortunately this definitely looks like a tumor. My advice to you would be to purchase the API Master Test Kit and stay on top of testing the water for ammonia/nitrite/nitrate and keeping the water clean. Other than that, there is not much else you can do other than keep them comfortable. Has the tumor been growing?
