Finnex FugeRay vs FugeRay Planted+ ?

I want to get a light for my new glass tank, which is 10 x 10 inches.

I saw the Finnex FugeRay Planted+, smallest length is 12 inches but the legs are adjustable and can slide in one inch on each side. There is another Finnex FugeRay model that comes in a 10 inch size but it isn't a Planted+. The difference seems to be that the Planted+ has 24 quantity 660nm red LEDs in addition to the 7000k white LEDs.

12 inch + : 44 white, 24 red, 4 blue LEDs
10 inch : 32 white, 4 blue

I have some floating plants, water wisteria, java ferns, water sprite, pennywort, anubias and a banana plant. Which light would be better? I'd rather not have the overhang, but I want my plants to do well.

(I posted this question in "bowls, habitats and accessories" but then decided it belongs here, sorry for the double post.)

You can contact a mod to delete the other thread.

Planted+ is good for tanks with lots of plants and lots of medium-high light plants. You're going to get an excess of algae if you go with that one. You're keeping primarily low light and easy plants so you'll want to StingRay--less light power but still sufficient for most plants and will still grow them well.

Not sure, that's a question to ask RussellTheShihTzu since she has some of her own. I've never had the StingRay. I know my Planted+ does a little bit though. You can always just rest it on the glass as well or make your own kind of legs for it out of something if you're savy like that.
